Jerre Davidson of Alma, Ontario, Canada has been working in Kiln-formed glass for 10 years and in 2010 she will have been on the Elora-Fergus Studio tour for four years.
Here is what Jerre says about her work, " I use the contradictory properties of glass to create my kiln-formed glass landscapes. Some of my work is assembled face up and fired multiple times whereas others are fired face down allowing for a more impressionistic image. With this work I endeavour to share my sense of place in the natural environment."
She is a member of the Harris Collective at the Elora Centre for the Arts. Recently she joined the Artist's Collective at the Whitestone Gallery in Guelph. You can also see her work at the Harbinger Gallery, Waterloo and at the Barber Gallery in Guelph.
